Student Contest Deadline Coming Up!
Chiloquin students still have time to enter the Oregon Mayors Association “If I Were Mayor…” Student Contest — but the local deadline is Friday, March 20! This fun contest invites students to share their ideas about how they would improve their community if they were mayor. The City of Chiloquin selects local winners and submits them to the statewide competition, where students can win cash prizes and statewide recognition. Last year, Chiloquin’s own Henry Hodgson won first place in the statewide high school category, a big accomplishment for both Henry and our community! If you’re a student with ideas about the future of Chiloquin, this is your chance to share them.
