City of Chiloquin Projects: Building Our Next 100 Years

As the City of Chiloquin celebrates its 100th anniversary, we are not only honoring our past but also investing in our future.

Over the past century, Chiloquin has grown through the strength of its people, its connection to the land, and its commitment to community. Today, that same spirit is driving a new generation of projects focused on improving infrastructure, expanding opportunity, and enhancing quality of life for residents and visitors alike.

From critical infrastructure upgrades to community-focused improvements, the City is actively working on projects that will serve Chiloquin for the next 100 years.

Major Projects Underway

Wastewater Treatment Facility Project

The City is moving forward with replacing its aging wastewater treatment system. With funding now secured through a combination of federal, state, and local sources—including recent support from the Oregon State Legislature—the project is entering the next phase. This investment will improve reliability, protect water quality, and support future growth.

Water System Improvements

The City continues to invest in its water system, including the development of a new well and system upgrades to ensure a safe, reliable water supply. These improvements will strengthen long-term water security and support future community needs.

Public Works Facility

Plans are underway for a new Public Works facility to better support City operations and maintenance activities. This project will improve efficiency and provide the tools and space needed to maintain critical infrastructure.

Streets and Transportation Improvements

The City is working with partners to improve safety and accessibility along key corridors, including Chocktoot Street. These efforts aim to make it safer and easier for people to walk, bike, and travel through the community.

Parks and Community Spaces

Chiloquin is planning and pursuing improvements to parks and public spaces to create more opportunities for recreation, gatherings, and community events. These projects will help enhance livability and make Chiloquin an even better place to live and visit.

Looking Ahead

As we begin our second century, these projects represent more than construction; they reflect a commitment to building a strong, resilient, and vibrant community.

The City of Chiloquin is focused on turning plans into action, securing funding, and delivering results that will benefit current residents and future generations.

We invite community members to stay engaged, share input, and follow along as these projects move forward.
