WORKSHOP - PIER Grant Opportunities

DATE: Tuesday, October 17

TIME: 5:15pm

LOCATION: 127 S First Avenue

On Tuesday, October 17, 2023 the Chiloquin City Council will hold a public workshop to discuss opportunities for the City to apply for grant funds through the Oregon Housing and Community Services’ Planning, Infrastructure, and Economic Revitalization (PIER) Grant. The workshop will be held at City Hall and will start at 5:15 pm.

The PIER Program is designed to assist Cities, Tribes, and non-profit entities with specific public roles (such as a soil and water conservation district) in communities affected by the 2020 Labor Day Fires.

The workshop will provide an overview of the PIER Program, eligible entities, eligible activities, grant requirements and minimum project size. The goal of the workshop will be to identify and prioritize potential City projects that could be supported by grant funds.
