Chiloquin awarded funding for development of a Parks Master Plan from Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.
This project will develop a parks master plan that will aid the city in determining priorities, resources, and investments to accomplish short-term and long-term improvements and will serve as the city's blueprint for these future improvements to our community's parks and recreational spaces.
The Chiloquin 2021-2025 Strategic Plan identified several key areas for enhancing the quality of life for Chiloquin residents including improving our current community parks and the Rodeo Event Center, developing community paths and potentially a new nature park for the community. A Request for Proposal was issued recently, and once selection of a qualified firm or individual has been completed, the project will begin and is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2023.
